KERRY STEVENSON
Son, Father, Brother, Friend, and Leader.
Born on October 29, 1967, to Theresa Stevenson, I am the second of three boys, hailing from the vibrant city of Birmingham, Al. My educational journey began within the Birmingham public school system, where my academic prowess flourished. After graduating from Huffman High School, I earned the prestigious Presidential Scholarship, beginning my journey to Alabama A&M University.

At Alabama A&M, I pursued my passion for Mathematics. Despite witnessing the tragic murder of my first cousin and best friend, I required their death to have a greater meaning. This resilience became a cornerstone of my career and life philosophy. That my life's work would be dedicated to students learning and mentoring. Graduating Magna Cum Laude, I persevered, earning a master's degree in Math Education. These experiences contributed to the development of my foundational work that has impacted the lives of hundreds of students and athletes alike.
In 2012, I joined the University of Alabama as Director of Player Development, contributing to two National Championships and four SEC Championships under the leadership and direction of Nick Saban. My commitment to education did not stop there; as the Vice President for the Development of Athletics and Scholarships at Miles College, I was committed to Strategic Planning and Development, Athletic Program Management, and Scholarship Administration.
With over a decade of community engagement support, I serve multiple education institutions and school districts in Alabama as an Educational Consultant and Mindset coach.

My journey has also led me to explore my creative side. In 2018, I published my first book, "Inspirations In Life: Inspired by Faith, Family, Friends, and Football." This collection of short stories and poems is a testament to the values that contribute to growing learners, producing teachers, and inspiring leaders.

As a father, I take pride in sharing my world with two incredible individuals: my daughter, Aisha, and son, Jaylon. As I continue to embrace life's challenges and triumphs, I am excited about the opportunities ahead and the chance to make a lasting impact on those I encounter.
